I didn't always know I was poly. In fact, I was very monogamy-oriented in my late teens/early twenties (not that I was doing a whole lot of dating then).
Polyamory just makes sense for the stage of life I'm at right now. It's almost like I'm trying to speedrun all of the years I missed out on, and in order to do that, polyamory just makes more sense. Also I've come to realize that I'm not the kind of poly who can have multiple primary partners at the same time. It's more like one primary partner + casual dating or friends with benefits would be my ideal setup.
I feel happy for you, yet, why do you feel monogamy is so hard for you? Did you always know you were poly?
